Ballasts and Transformers

Lightshop has a wide selection of different ballasts, for different lamps of older lighting technology. Lumianire manufacturers no longer use ballasts as they have moved to LED technology, except for a few special situations, but old luminaires are still repaired with new lighting components around the World. This is a great way to be environmentally friendly and give your own contribution on green thinking and to extend the life of the already existing lamp for years to come.

At Lightshop, you can get both magnetic and electronic ballasts. Different ballasts can be found e.g. for fluorescent tubes, compact fluorescent lamps, greenhouse high pressure sodium lamps (HPS), mercury and metal halide lamps. The powers of Lightshop's ballasts range from a few Watts up to 600W.
